Edwardian estate smoker's set, complete but for one little brass roundel. It isn't perfect, as you can see, but it's perfectly charming and very "estate" and ready for use by your pipe smoker. Large 12.5" x 9" base and a 5" rise to the lathe-turned wooden tobacco jar, it will show off quite a few pipes in the rack, or perhaps cigars. Tobacco jar and lid, open matches jar and a larger matching one for rolled cigarettes, plus the ash tray - all in beautifully hand crafted and lathe-turned wood. The small metal apparatus to the front is a match striker pad, and loose pieces that still attend it include a cigar cutter and a 3-tool pipe tamper implement.
Very good condition for age and type, with beautiful old wood grain and no breaks or chips or cracks to the old lathe-turned wood nor the stand, itself. The rack will hold either 10 pipes or 10 cigars and all but one of those round openings on the rack still has the brass fitting. One is missing that, as you can see in the images. It's the one imperfection to report. There is rust on the very old implements, visible in our photos, but they are original to the set and we're including them for you to determine their future use or not.
