Absolutely gorgeous antique Belle Epoque era c. 1890-1910 COMPLETE matching 3pc sterling silver meat serving utensil or implement set with elegant Classical or Empire patterned handles AND all beautifully kept in a fitted storage and/or presentation box! A wonderful set, complete and all pieces with matching pattern. The set includes 12.5" meat carving knife, fork & gigot and the storage case/box! Hallmarked sterling silver handles, the French Minerve or Minerva on each, the tiny number "1" mark within designates them as being .950 silver content (95% pure, higher than the .925 standard for sterling silver). There are silversmith marks are but mostly illegible and I've not been able to find reference to the maker but the knife blade is marked "LG Coutellerie Superieure". Original steel tines & blade on the meat serving pieces. All original and all in wonderful shape, gorgeous!
Very good condition. A slight dimple possible to the silver handles but no larger dents, damage or repairs to note. Some tarnish and/or corrosion to the steel knife blade (pre-stainless steel). The box appears original, all pieces fit and the box itself is in great shape. See pictures for measurements.
