Little vases are just such a French thing. Here or there, a breakfast tray, a side table, beside the bed - these petit vases meant to hold a few aromatic buds and blossoms. This one is just gorgeous. Heavy French Sterling silver mounts top and bottom, with cross-ribbon, gadroon and olive leaves. The body of the vase is Old Paris porcelain with a royal blue ground and a cartouche of hand painted floral bouquet. So charming and SO French.
