Wonderful antique French sterling silver 2" napkin ring, 95% pure silver with ornate guilloche style machined pattern including engraved flower & foliage, butterfly & insect and engraved “AM" monogram! The French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, 1st quality for .950 silver content. The silversmith mark is for Ernest Compere, Paris circa 1868-1888.

Very good condition. Weighs a relatively light 25 grams, but the ringed edges gives it extra strength and it's beautiful given its 100 or so years. Great condition as you can see from the images. Some surface scuffing. See pictures for measurements.
