Gorgeous antique French hallmarked 18k gold on sterling silver 5pc hors d'oeuvre or condiment serving implement set with horn or musical instrument themed floral & foliate pattern, engraved or machined accenting and all in wonderful condition! An exquisite set, don't you think! Five pieces consisting of a spatula shaped piece, fork, seashell shaped spoon, small ladle and even sugar tongs. All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks designate them as being in .950 silver under the gold plating (95% pure so above the .925 standard for sterling silver). The silversmith marks are for Alfred Hamel, Paris circa 1890-1911. A magnificent set, one you'll love to get out and use at every occasion.
Very good to excellent condition. Some faint surface scuffs indicative of light use and hardly a sign of wear or fading to the gold plating. No bends, breaks or repairs to any. See pictures for weights and measurements.
