Fine antique Italian Paolo Soprani marked diatonic button accordion in marquetry inlaid wood with mother of pearl buttons, original baffles and all in wonderful condition! Isn't it fun! And just charming as a prop or display, too. In the past we've had a variety of antique and early vintage musical instruments including concertina and others. They seem to go very high at auction but of course we don't do auctions anymore so I'm basing my price on what we paid to acquire it. Odds are I'm nearly giving it away. Original bellows, hand constructed intricacy to the inner mechanism and everything's there (as far as this musically handicapped person can tell) but may need just a little restoration internally as a few of those wood slats are loose and need just a bit of glue I'm sure. Clips on the outside hold the three pieces together, the tone chamber, bellows and grille. As I said, these make absolutely wonderful decorative accents and they really don't come any finer!
Very good condition. Just as you see it externally. I see no holes or damage to the baffles and thing is missing as far as I can tell other than the original case. As noted above, the inside may need a bit of glue as some of those wooden panels are loose but everything is there. See pictures for measurements.
