Children on vacation, 3 charming little boys running together - that's the sculpture which has been made focal point of a charming table or accent lamp. The adaptation is almost as old as the sculpture, which is c.1860s. No breaks, and a lovely patina. The base is alabaster and has a name plate plaque on front. The lamp's base holding it is metal, and the arm of the lamp adjusts up or down. You can put a smaller shade on it if you'd like. This is the one that came with it. It has been converted in the USA, the plus is for US current. No rewiring necessary. I have used this sweet little one for decades and there is a matching sculpture I found which will be listed soon, has glass-bead bulb shade and a single matching boy. It will be sold separately.
Very good to excellent condition, with the original patina, no breaks to sculpture nor alabaster base. Nicely converted to a lamp with what I would say is a 1950s lamp shade. It is the one that was with it when I bought it 30-40 years ago. Charming! Would be wonderful on a tabletop or desk to light a small collection as you can see in our photos, or as a night light in bathroom, or for a child's room. The lamp arm extends or shortens from where it is now, which makes it a 15.5" tall lamp. Other measurements are noted on the photos.
