Delightful antique Swiss Black Forest hand carved tobacco pipe with a small deer or fawn figure, foliate bowl and in the original shaped & fitted leatherette case with Geneva retailer's label! Just about as charming as can be! The pipe itself has been used, as evidenced by the charring around the bowl and some chipping in places but it's in great shape with age and materials considered. A charming little fawn prancing down the stem of the pipe, the bowl with a tree on the inside and then formed by leaves curving around the front. Rare to find it in the original old Victorian era leather case, too. The inside label appears to read "Fabrique de Pipes, AU PACHA, Geneve, 7 Rue Du Mont - Blanc 7".
Good to very good condition. As noted, there are a few chips to the pipe and the mouthpiece has been replaced with a later black one but it'll work. The case is in great shape, as you see it, with both hinges intact and working claps, just a bit of surface stinging. See pictures for all measurements.
