Unique & charming antique French hallmarked sterling silver aperitif or liqueur cup, shot glass with handle, ornate guilloche style engraved or machined decoration and raised medallion sans monogram! Yes, this is the tiny shot glass sized piece, roughly an ounce capacity though I haven't measured it (I will and will add that info). Fabulous though, with engraved or machined decoration, large crest shaped medallion without monogram and in superb condition! It bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within that mark means it's in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Jean Francois Veyrat, Paris circa 1832-1840 Wonderful, spoil yourself!
Very good to excellent condition. Heavy for its size and the condition shows that, it weighs 22 grams. Looks like two tiny dimples near the base handle area but no dents, damage or repairs to note other than tiny nicks or slight surface scuffs. See pictures for all measurements.
