Pulled from some fabulous vanity box or scent caddy from c.1940-80s, this pair of French crystal and kiln-fired enamel perfume bottles (or possibly inkwells, depending upon the box to which they were originally fitted) remain as beautiful today as they once were. Each is clean, undamaged, and has their original stopper in place.
Very good to excellent, nothing missing, brightly collared and set with a pair of gold star against celeste blue enamel plaques, convex copper upon which enamel has been hand applied and kiln-fired to a porcelain-like finish. Perfect to fill in your French scent caddy that is missing its original pair, or to display just as they are. Measurements noted on our photos, but they are each approximately 1 1/8" square and 2" in overall height when closed. Hinges and ormolu tight and complete. You are buying the 2 bottles together in this offering.
