Not quite an antique but getting close, this is a commemorative or souvenir Russian wax seal, cast steel bust of Lenin, the interesting and very beautifully crafted seal is one you'll want to use. A large 3/4" diameter matrix with remarkable quality image of a 1-headed eagle topped with a crown. As you know, Russian crests and seals bear the 2-headed flying eagle and have since the 1500s., so this is quite interesting to see a modified seal with a bust of Lenin. I'm not certain of it's date. It and a companion seal/bust with Stalin came to me years ago from one large collection of sceau I purchased in France. Since it's not quite a Russian eagle, you might just choose to use it on your correspondence?
Very good to excellent condition. Overall, seal is 3.5" long, heavy and solid cast, I think it is steel. Some rubs from handling.
