Decorator pair, after the Louis XVI styles. They're not quite antiques yet, and date from about 1950 or so, but the look and style is that charming Country French, lovely cabriole legs, 29" tall so works for bedside or side tables, either one. Each one of the pair (sold as a pair) has 3 drawers, ample space inside measurements of each drawer: 12" wide, 8.5" deepest (serpentine fronts) and a 2.5" usable depth. Could even work as sofa-back tables for lamps (see final image).
Very good condition throughout, no chips, no breaks, nicely carved and while they are not antique, they certainly have the look you're after. Beautiful wood grain and display perfectly from front and side. Elegant cabriole legs and carved accents. All hardware in place and matching. They're made very well, though the drawers are not dovetailed as earlier versions might be, but are joined by rabbit (see images). They're moderately heavy, and each one will need to ship separately in a modified lamp box for safe arrival. This is one pair which can be picked up locally, San Diego area, California, to avoid shipping costs.
