Fabulous antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era 5 3/4" "vide poche" or empty pocket, a jewelry or trinket dish in the form of a blackamoor figure with shimmering mother of pearl half shell dish!  A wonderful piece, the figure in an age patinated white metal with a brass base and the mother of pearl dish is held in the figure's hands with twisted brass wire.  Rare to find, these always seem to sell just about as quickly as we find them so, don't miss it.

Very good condition.  Remnants of a gold paint or finish evident in some areas of the figure.  There is a restored bend to the front left foot of the brass base and a small bit of chipping to the left edge of the pearl dish.  See pictures for all measurements.
