The set is one of the very finest by French maker "extraodinaire", Baccarat, though unsigned. It is of the finest quality of any of these traditional liqueur sets we've had, with the most opulent dore-bronze framed matching tray. Caned/twisted handles, fine polished rims, enameled garlands - this set has it all. The tray probably once had a pair of matching decanters and 12 cordial cups. Still remaining with it, one stoppered demi-carafe (decanter) and 4 pristine cups to match, plus one cup that has lost its handle. For a service for 4 people, a small gathering, this set will thrill you no end. It's one I'll be using until it's sold and gone, and will then regret selling it. The tray does dual duty for all manner of service opportunities, too. Versatile! Gorgeous! Top Baccarat quality!
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. As noted above, the 5th surviving cup is missing handle. The remaining pieces are all in excellent condition. The tray alone is worth our tag price and will serve desserts, hors d'oeuvres, whatever you want to get rave reviews for your guests. Then bring it out again for after-dinner liqueur with carafon and cups. Stopper is original, too, and no damage to these pieces but the handle on the extra (5th) cup. We're leaving it with the set, just because it's still so pretty. Use it for picks along with your hors d'oeuvres!
