Beautiful desk set, 2 pots which would have once had porcelain covers and 2 into which likely glass inkwells would have once rested, a large 12" long Old Paris porcelain desk piece. I find no impressed or glazed marks to help with any identification, could be Samson, but falls into the general "Old Paris" category for me. One worth the project of restoration or creation of 2 pot lids. Such a beauty, Louis XV styling, look. Shell, rocaille, raised gold enamel work creating a cartouche of the hand painted floral bouquet which are repeated on fronts of the 2 pots.  Large and so pretty, 12" long and 7.75" widest, rises to 3" at handles. I have used it with candles in the openings as a table centerpiece, which use is just stunning, really.

Very good condition for age and type, missing 2 pot lids and should have perhaps removable porcelain or glass ink pots in the front 2 openings. There is a hairline across one handle, visible in our photos. I can't see any corresponding line which would suggest it's a break, and it's solid. It's possibly just a glaze hairline and does not indicate to me the handle was ever broken.  Likewise, no chips to report. I just long to see it with the pot lids. The floral painting are just gorgeous, and the raised gold enamel work is complete and elegant. So pretty!
