Lovely antique to vintage French Empire style 12 5/8" wide flower frog, an elegant centerpiece in heavy gilt bronze & thick blown glass! A beautiful piece, very French in style and undeniable visual & decorative appeal. A bit flawed, there are a few hairline cracks in the blown glass portion but it's still water tight so ready for use or display. I'd suggest displaying some truly fabulous faux flowers perhaps? In any event, a beautiful piece!
Good condition, as stated above. There are a few hairline cracks in the glass, mostly confined to the base. It does appear to remain water tight, after filling it with water and leaving for several days with no leaking. No damage or repairs to the overly thick & heavy gilt bronze frame.
