Antique French spice cabinet, 14.5" tall, a perfect apprentice miniature shop bonnetiere (bonnet cabinet or lingerie cabinet for a store). There are 7 drawers in all, and each has a natural bone "cachet" upon which one would note the contents. Perfect now as a spice cabinet. Beautiful old forest oak, dove-tailed drawers, attention to every detail on this one. All measurements noted on photos. Purhcased in France, it is the warmest Country French oak!
Very good to excellent condition throughout, no warping, no breaks or losses. There are very old woodworm holes in that back panel, nothing active and no pithiness - just a rather normal natural event in the old wood items. None in the oak at all. Either hang it or rest it as an upright armoire. We love these in kitchens and bathrooms, actually. They're great little accent pieces that create your very own interior designer feel. Clean, ready to use.
