Gorgeous antique French sterling silver 3pc tea or coffee set including large 44oz pot, covered sugar and creamer, all with an elegant Aesthetic style palmette pattern band & feet and immense visual & decorative appeal! Beautiful! Just in from France and sure to not last long in our inventory. Elegant old French sterling silver, all in wonderful condition and as visually pleasing as can be. All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). No tiny diamond shaped silversmith marks that I can see but the pot and creamer have larger stamped marks that read "Grognier Arnaud, Lyon". Fabulous in every respect, don't miss them!
Very good condition. Being over 100 years old, there are a few surface scuffs, a small dimple or two and a few darkened marks but, as you can see, each piece is as near pristine as one could hope for. No larger dents, damage or repairs that I can see. Total weight for the set is 1329 grams or 42.7 troy ounces. See pictures for all individual capacities, weights and measurements.
