If you love-love the look of the ancient French and Flemish tapestries, but haven't budget for them, the vintage ones like this might be perfect. This is a vintage machine woven tapestry, bringing the colors and scenes forward from "XVIII siecle", 18th century France, pastorals with verdure, castles, romantic riverside view with people. I apologize I can't be certain of the artisan's signature, but have shown it front and back for your review. I will estimate this one to have been from first half of 1900s. Full measurements noted on photos.
Very good to excellent condition throughout, age and type considered. The lined back shows age, but not the tapestry, no flaws to note.
