Elegant antique French sterling silver 5pc condiment or hors d'oeuvre serving set with ornate scrolling tendrils, original fitted storage and/or presentation box and all in wonderful condition! If you look closely and the interior of the box, you'll see that the set originally had sugar tongs nestled there toward the back but they've gone missing over the years. This set just in from France and simply gorgeous even with the loss. All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and above the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are for Jules Granvigne, Paris circa early 1900s. Be sure to browse some while you're with us. Very good condition. A small space between the handle and bowl of the reticulated spoon piece but it's solid, no wobbles and not loose. As noted, the sugar tongs are not with the set. The box is in fine shape, some signs of age but no damage to the red silk or satin interior and both clasps are intact. See pictures for all individual weights and measurements.
