Elegant antique French 18k gold on sterling silver “vermeil” and thick wheel cut glass 4” square vanity, powder or bonbon jar with Art Nouveau style sinuous tendrils & floral accents! Some fading and faint scratches to the vermeil but isn’t this one gorgeous! Art Nouveau influence in the pierced or reticulated accenting on the sides, thick & heavy cut glass body and in overall wonderful shape. The lid and frame bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number “1” within those marks means it’s in .950 silver (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for “sterling” silver). The silversmith mark is for Edmond Molle, Paris circa 1898-1919. Gorgeous, don’t miss it!

Very good condition. As noted and visible in the images, there is some fading or wear to the gold plating and some light scuffs or scratches on the lid. I see no chips, cracks or damage to the glass though the bottom is somewhat scuffed or has a satin finish. See pictures for all measurements.
