A magnificent and very rare undamaged service of c.1830 Louis Philippe era Baccarat crystal for liqueur service. The 8 stemware goblets are larger than cordials, suitable for Sautern or brandy, cognac. Each holds about 3 oz rather than 2. The decanters are typical size for French liqueur service (Measurements are noted on the photos) and the entire set is as close to perfect as any we've ever seen. Yes, took me years to put together this set and it is from my own bar. As you can see from the 1930 Baccarat reference catalogue page I've attached, we're certain of the date. I've paid as much as 120 euro per stem to get this larger size. In the group photo you can see them alongside a smaller set with 1 decanter and 4 more typical cordial stems (sold separately). I think you will, as I have been, be very pleased with this opulent set at your table, office, or just refracting light in your display of Baccarat crystal.   The large wine decanter with gold metal stopper and a large goblet are sold separately as a set (2pc) and so is the other liqueur decanter and its 4 smaller cordial stem goblets - look for them all. They're very hard to find in sets! These have been my bar sets. Downsizing my own antiques now.

Excellent condition for age and type. Each is wheel cut, and the stoppers are works of art. Both are numbered, without damage apart from one very tiny edge nip on one of the cut sharp edges - more to be found with fingers than with eyes, it's so small. I imagine if you run fingers over all of those diamond points, you might find another very tiny nipped point or two. It's amazing to think these are almost 200 years old and survive in such superb condition. This is my personal set. Don't miss it!
