Delightful antique French Napoleon III era miniature or doll sized 3 1/8" vanity or hand mirror with tested 18k gold cartouche sans monogram, original beveled mirror and wonderful condition! If this wasnât meant to grace the dressing table of an opulently appointed doll house, I donât know what is! Fabulous! Tiny, likely perfectly sized for an old French Bru or bisque doll and almost like dressing table top jewelry :). Solid shimmering mother of pearl, all of the appearance and skill youâd find in a full sized hand mirror but miniaturized and as charming as can be. Since working the images, we've tested the cartouche and it does test as 18k gold. Don't miss it!
Very good to excellent condition. One tiny chip to the mirror side of the handle, near the tip. Some slight surface scuffing but no other chips, cracks, damage or repairs to either the pearl or beveled mirror. See pictures for all measurements.
