Wonderful antique French Empire Revival style dore gilt bronze vanity or hand mirror with bow & ribbon accenting and hand painted & signed Limoges enamel portrait miniature on convex copper panel! All original except for the mirror, that's a newer flat replacement. We sometimes see these with the mirror either stripped or removed and replaced with clear glass to use them as a wall hanging picture frame but not sure we'd want to do that with this one having that gorgeous 'jeweled' Limoges enamel miniature on the other side. Artist signed in the lower right area appears to be "Lebrun Limoges" though I can't be certain. A gorgeous piece, don't miss it!
Very good to excellent condition. The replacement mirror really the only flaw. Some age/tarnish marks to the gilded bronze but no breaks or repairs. The Limoges enamel is as pristine as can be, no chips or cracks to note. See pictures for all measurements.
