Still working through my own collections of decades, found this stunning little 18.5 cm boiled horn pique worked monture, the creation of Ernest Kees, Paris, still in the original box. The boiled horn Monture has a look of much more rare blond tortoise shell, but I do think it's horn. Loads of sequins, entirely attached by hand. A contrasting band of mesh added and gold paper 'ribbon' edging, very much complete.  I don't find a signature directly on the fan, but it's definitely in original box with maker's embossment. While it looks ever so much like French Empire, this little opera fan would date c.1900. Belle Epoch opera fan. Measurements noted on the photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type. I have not tested the pique dots which are missing just a few. Very pretty, and no breaks or restorations to the slender elegant monture. There is one fold which is weakened by a split, but is still intact (see images for our 'x' mark to evaluate). A little split at outer edge, the gold foil paper, not much though. Lots of photos for review.
