Lovely vintage French hallmarked sterling silver & cut glass or crystal 6pc vanity set including three perfume or cologne bottles & three covered jars, all with ribbed or fluted bodies & silver tops! One of a few sets of matching antique to vintage French sterling topped vanity sets that I'™ve recently been working on, getting ready for listing so, if you€™'re looking for a few pieces to display in a guest or master bath, be sure to browse a little while you’re with us. They really do add a touch of elegance, displayed on an old silver tray or even just by themselves, grouped near the sink perhaps. This set consisting of three perfume or cologne bottles, a long slender toothbrush jar and two smaller jars, one round and one oval. No monograms, nothing overly frilly here, just an elegant old French vanity set. The silver portions all bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "œ1" within those marks means they’re all in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "œsterling" silver). The silversmith marks are likely for Lucien Schilt, Paris circa 1909. Lovely!

Good Condition. A tiny bit of cloudiness on the inside of the perfume/cologne bottles and there are some chips to them, mostly on their bases (see images) but no cracks to note. All stoppers are there, one with chip to ribbed top and all with tiny nips to inner tips. One of the silver collars on a perfume bottle with a dent to its top side. A few faint dimples to the silver and a bit of surface scuffing but no other notable damage. See pictures for all measurements.
