Wonderful antique French Napoleon III era 13 1/4" lectern, thabor, missel/missal or bible stand with ruby colored paste 'gems' or 'jewels', IHS champleve enamel medallion and adjustable platform with engraved cross & "Domine Miserere T.M." inscription! Of course, domino miserere translates to "Lord Have Mercy", the T.M. likely then monogram of the original owner? A gorgeous piece, with ornate reticulated base framing, cabriole style feet or legs and the jewels & enamel plaque add a bit of extra opulence (as if needed). Just in from France, don't miss it!
Good to very good condition, age considered. As you can see in the images, there are some tarnish marks on the large brass platform/panel. There is a bit of bending around the reticulated base also but no breaks that I can see. One things on the back has a wire through it rather than the original pin. See pictures for all measurements.
