Gorgeous antique French Napoleon III era 6.5" x 5" display stand, pedestal or plateau with gilded bronze or brass framework, darker silvered or patinated accenting, thick 5 3/8" x 4 1/4" beveled glass display surface and charming little front cheval style beveled oval mirror! Stunning, isn't it! Originally, this was likely a bride's display stand for her tiara or headpiece to her veil. Popular now as display plinths and perfect for a wide variety of treasured smalls, really only limited by your imagination though the displayed object had better be quite something to be able to compete with this one.
Very good to excellent condition. There are a few very faint scuffs or scratches to the top glass surface and a tiny dark spot or two to the mirror's silvering but, otherwise pristine. See pictures for all measurements.
