Wonderful antique French Napoleon III era 4 7/8" tall pocket watch, pendant or portrait miniature display piece, an Empire style gilt bronze frame with wood mat and lovely bow & foliate top or finial! This would originally have had an easel stand on the back and could have been placed on the desk or night table perhaps. A hang ring remains so it can be wall or vitrine displayed and would even be great to display and accentuate a fine old French hand painted portrait miniature. Original old bronze back, heavy and solid with old construction. An elegant piece, don't miss it.
Very good condition. As noted, the easel stand on the back is missing but it could be propped up (as I've done for the images) or wall displayed with the hand ring. Otherwise the condition is truly superb for age. See pictures for all measurements.
