Lovely antique French sterling silver 2" napkin ringwith raised Louis XVI style decoration including own & ribbons and laurel foliate cornucopia! It bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" in the upper right corner stands for French 1st quality (.950 or 95% pure silver content). The silversmith mark is fully legible but I've not found reference yet, will add if/when I do.
Yes, a single here and one of several superb antique and vintage sterling silver napkin rings that we're adding today (and in the weeks ahead) so be sure to browse our current offerings to build a collection fit for royalty :). These are great mixed & matched around your table, wonderful to find a set of twelve or more matching pieces but who could be so lucky. And, isn't it much neater if all are unique, each with a history...a story of its own!
Very good condition. Weighs 27 gramsand it's in great shape given its 100 or so years. Fine condition as you can see from the images. Some surface scuffing possible and a bit of bending in places alone the flared edges. See pictures for measurements.
