Lovely antique French sterling silver 1 7/8" napkin ring with delightful machined or engraved decoration including frieze style band of dancing winged angel, cherub or putti figures and foliate accented medallion sans monogram! This one bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within that mark designating .950 silver content (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Emile Deriot, Paris circa 1898.
