Fabulous antique Gorham hallmarked sterling silver 9" long serving spoon with pointed or tapered tip and a stunning handle with bas relief style scrolled tendrils & foliate and rare colorful cloisonné or champleve enamel accenting! Gorham hallmark, on the under side of the handle, this particular style appears to have been used in the last quarter of the 1800s but I'm not seeing a symbol that would narrow the date down to the year. A larger piece, as gorgeous as they come!
Very good condition. Possibly a bit of loss to the enamel, I've included large close-up shots so you can see the current state. Tiny edge nips to the silver is also possible but no dents, damage or repairs to note. See pictures for weight and all measurements.
