Fantastic antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era Black Forest style hand carved 22 3/4" wide tobacco pipe rack or display piece, highly ornate scrolling decoration & overall fabulous condition! Gorgeous! Currently, it will hold twelve pipes with an average pipe stem diameter of 5/8". Exceptional detail and a large center medallion with what appears to be a "SE" monogram.
Very good condition. There is a small split on the right side but it's secure to the rear wood panel. There is also one pipe stem divider that is missing from the right side, apparently broken off over the years. We'd planned to try to carve a replacement but time is limited so we're offering with that in mind. See images for all measurements.
