Nearly 5" long and perfectly arched, still, this Napoleon III era, (c. 1850-70s) and the French Empire Revival period in fashion it represents. The tiara retains its form, beauty and appeal. Three rows of 6 mm French created pearls decorate it. Full measurements noted on photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, not a single bug bite or flaw to the fine tortoise shell tiara-like comb, still retains the steamed arch for a beautiful fit whether to the top of head or to hold a French twist, etc.. The pearls are not natural pearls but are the early French faux, which have a lovely patina but you can see the surface flaw to a few, too.
