Elegant antique French hallmarked .800 (nearly sterling) silver 4pc hors d'oeuvres or condiment serving implement set with scrolling tendril & acanthus accent pattern, original fitted box and all in wonderful condition! A beautiful set, don't you think! Four pieces consisting of a reticulated flat spoon, fork, reticulated spoon & pate type spatula. All pieces bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "2" within those marks designate them as being in .800 silver (at least 80% pure so just below the .925 standard for sterling silver but common because the slightly lower silver content gives them more strength/durability). The silversmith marks are for Emile Huignard, Paris circa 1880. A wonderful set, one you'll love to get out and use at every occasion.

Very good condition. Some faint surface scuffs indicative of light use. No bends, breaks or repairs to any. The handles are filled sterling silver, the blades, etc. are solid .800 silver. The box is in fine shape, with some age as you can see in the images.  See pictures for weights and measurements.
