Someone's gift set, this 19th century boxed set of crochet tools are printing and appear unused within their original leather-clad presentation box. Four sized hooks, each inserts into the handle's top fitting and are held tightly in place by the small anchor screw which you see is still with this one. I've always been drawn to these, perhaps because I had a Swiss grandmother whose hands fascinated me as they moved quickly and magically created lace for pillowcases, other works of needlework artistry. Very good to excellent condition for age and type. I think the tambour has never been used, and the interior is very clean and nice for age. Some of its age shows on the outside of the case, etui, nécessaire, but not much wear, no tears or losses.
