Maker: unsigned, Old Paris, c. 1790-1840, Paris makers Vincennes or Sevres 1 Platter: 11" x 8" and 1.5" deep 6 Plates: 9" diameter, 1 1/8" deep A beautiful hand painted and decorated set of cabinet or dessert plates, complete with 6 plates and 1 platter or tray, more than likely from one of the famed decorative porcelain houses, and which, unsigned, get simply referred to as "Old Paris porcelain". The plates are in beautiful condition throughout. Set includes 7 pieces, as shown.
Very good to excellent. I find not a single chip and no cracks nor hairlines. The plates are unmarred by any utensil marks, as well, and the painted surface is beautiful. Trimmed out in hand applied gold enamel, they're a breath of Springtime.
