Fabulous, large antique Victorian era hand carved old growth European oak 33" tall wall cabinet with bronze patinated figural plaque and attached but removable lower 25" wide shelf fixture! This one came to us from Germany, our contact did not remove the lower shelf so you can imagine the size of the resulting package. Delivered to me via FedEx on a pallet :). A gorgeous piece though, thick & heavy old growth solid oak with a warm aged finish. I originally acquired it just for the upper cabinet, they always sell rather quickly but, when I saw the entire piece, there was just no way I could separate them. The figural plaque also wonderful, a seated man playing a zither resting on his lap with two women and a dog or hound to the left. Kitchen items hanging on the left wall, hunting items including satchel and rifle on the right. The cabinet was described as a smoker's cabinet but the interior has two movable shelves only so the uses are really only limited to your imagination.
Very good condition. The upper oak molding on the cabinet are later restorations and the stain is about 95% matching but see what you think in the images. One inner shelf and the side supports are not original. Also, the lower shelf has a relatively large chip to the right corner (noted in images).
