Pair of antique c. 1860s (Napoleon III era) French side chairs, upholstered in vintage tapestry fabric with double piping trim, and upholstered also on the back. Excellent throughout, 1800s French. Hand carved heavy old forest growth wood, ball and claw footed cabriole legs in front. Beautiful flanking a hutch or dresser, or for use at desk (back is pretty, too). Measurements noted on photos.
Excellent condition for age and type. The vintage upholstery tapestry is thick, excellent, double-piping and professionally done. Wood is superb and chairs are solid and sturdy as can be. Heavy old forest growth. You are buying the pair.
