Elegant antique French 1798-1809 hallmarked sterling silver condiment or sugar sifter serving utensil with ornate pierced or reticulated bowl, "Old English Thread" pattern & wonderful condition! A very old piece, this one bears the French Coq (cock) hallmark that dates between 1798-1809. Also there are the "Moyenne" hallmark, tiny boar's head mark and silversmith marking. I've not been able to find reference to the silversmith, mostly due to the first initial being illegible. The pattern has been timeless, subtle but elegant and this one will be an easy fit into an existing fine sterling silver table setting. Don't miss it!
Very good condition. Some faint surface scuffs possible but, as you can see, there's no damage, no repairs. See pictures for weight and measurements.
