Absolutely fabulous antique German hallmarked Continental .800 (nearly sterling) silver 3pc traveler's style flatware set, a knife, fork & spoon with ornate seashell pattern & engraved "FW" monograms and all in the original fitted travel case or presentation box! The hallmarks on each piece are of German origins and include a crescent moon, crown and eagle alongside the "800" mark that designates the silver content (80% pure so just under the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). Silversmith marks are for Bruckmann & Sohne, Heilbronn Germany circa 1805-1900s. All three pieces in wonderful condition, as you can see in the images, and as attractive as can be with that beautiful and always popular seashell pattern and "FW"or "FM" engraved monogram! With the original steel knife blade & fork tines and all in wonderful condition! Neatly nestled in the original black leatherette case or box!
Very good condition. Do damage or repairs to note. The knife blade and fork tines are the original pre-stainless steel so they do have a bit of age tarnish or corrosion but no rust and are actually in quite fine shape all things considered. The fitted case/box is original and included but it's missing the top portion of both clasps. See pictures for weights and measurements.
