Mourning jewelry, a beautifully crafted and perfectly preserved tightly braided chestnut hair bracelet with large 16k gold hinged clasp. Dates Victorian era, Napoléon III era, and is engraved and has a monogram "A F"on center 1/3 of the clasp. Very well treasured, this one has no loose or fraying braid and is tightly set into the beautiful old wide clasp. Full measurements noted on the photos.

No looseness in the tightly braided chestnut colored hair, which is further braided in a 1" wide band mounted into the beautiful and substantial 7/8" wide and the bracelet clasped is 8" long
