Vintage to antique, likely c.1915-30, very sturdy and ready to hold 2 of your favorite rifles for display. Wood plaques are 15" tall, beveled around the entire serpentine form, and are 3 1/4" widest. Each has a recessed hanging apparatus on backside so will hang flush to the wall. We bought the pair out of France along with a load of fine Swiss Black Forest carvings. They must have steel forms inside, they are sturdy and strong.
Very good to excellent condition for something like this. No loss of fur, and, as these run, very nicely preserved and presented. Priced to go quickly, too. I guess they're not my cup of tea, really. Grand Tour souvenir, perhaps? Cabin, hunting lodge, hunter's den.
