Yes, I said it, Summerween...though I've never watched Gravity Falls. We've all seen the Halloween decorations out in shops over the summer and I guess it's a thing so thought this would fit right in perfectly. A genuine antique Victorian era solid oak 3-drawer chest or dresser with original beveled mirror and a truly fantastic restored or altered ghoulish look including distressed black finish and fantastic skull in flower garden decoupage drawer facade! When I first saw it, I truly thought the skull, etc. on the drawer fronts was hand painted but, on closer inspection you can see small crimps or creases where the decoupage was affixed to the front panels. The drawer pulls have been replaced with black cast iron ones to complete the look. Dovetail joints, the original metal casters on the legs and original thick beveled mirror up top, along with that carved rear lip and turned posts supporting the mirror. The dresser top left alone, in the original solid and natural finished oak, isn't this one just about as fabulous as can be! Summerween, Halloween....heck, every day really.
This is large and shipping is likely not an option unless you have contacts for freight so it will be a local pick-up item here in the north San Diego area. Also, the candlesticks, flower vase, etc. shown in the images are not included :).
Very good condition. The drawers stick a little but are complete and all original. The casters are all intact but they don't roll easily, at least not on carpet which is where it sits and where it was photographed. A few replaced screws visible on the back (mirror support) but, as you can see, this one is in great shape for its 100+ years and the restoration/alteration really is fantastic!
