Likely unsigned Sevres plate, we'll call it "Old Paris". Plate is excellent and is 8.75" in diameter. Courtesans and Favorites of the Court of Louis XV Portrait of Anne "Ninon" de l'Enclos also spelled Ninon de Lenclos and Ninon de Lanclos (10 November 1620 â 17 October 1705) was a French author, courtesan, freethinker, and patron of the arts. Much is written about this historic figure and she's a beautiful and interesting figure, indeed. She left her estate to a 9-year old son of her accountant so he could buy books. This 9-year old, later to be known as Voltaire. Such history - her story!
Very good to excellent condition throughout. Has been a cabinet display plate and has no marks nor chips nor cracks or hairlines to diminish the value or appeal. Likely a late 1700s to earliest 1800s plate, it is 8.75" in diameter and 1" in depth. We have a 2nd plate from same collection, Duchesse de Chateauroux, sold separately. Look for it in our shop.
