Lovely antique Victorian to early Edwardian era 5.75" tazza, bonbon or candies dish with shaped or ruffled & red rimmed white opaline dish on a gilded metal base! I've tried looking up the markings on this one but with no luck, it's likely of American origins as they're similar to those of Jennings Brothers. A fine piece and rather amazing that the glass dish has survived with literally no flaws. The gilt base/stand does show its age but all is original, intact and would make a fabulous desk top candies dish though the uses are really only limited by your imagination.
Very good condition. As noted, there is no damage other than the wear or fading to the gilding on the base stand. No chips, cracks or damage to the glass. See images for all measurements.
