Fabulous antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era 8.5" silver or nickel plated brass or bronze picture frame with Empire style pharaoh or Sphinx figure, flower & foliage accents and original thick beveled glass! Just in from France, this one was originally a small vanity or boudoir mirror but I stripped the silvering...thinking it would be just a fantastic picture frame. The oval glass is original, thick and with beveled edges and the frame will hold a 4 7/8" x 3 3/4"photo or portrait. Original easel stand, wonderful visual & decorative appeal!
Very good condition. Some very slight wear to the silver or nickel plating, the gold colored brass or bronze metal showing beneath. See pictures for all measurements.
