Beautifully crafted, this is a drawing in black conte crayon and pencil, exceptionally well done and dramatic. A handsome young man with perhaps a military uniform, embroidered braid on the upturned collar. The old frame is heavy dore bronze and has hanging loop and a closed back. Measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. An incredibly fine drawing, rich grays and blacks and dramatic pose, perfectly preserved beneath the original slightly convex cover glass. No flaws to note. It is not signed, no ID (having checked inside for same).
