A bit of Art Deco feel to this lovely antique to vintage beaded bag. The silver copper and gold metal beads are heavy and supple, lush fringe is entirely intact. I find no holes, no tears, no missing beads and the fabric lining remains in nice condition and ready to use and wear. Whether its Prom, a wedding, an evening out, or just a fun trip to the mall, this bag an go anywhere with instant cachet. I've had a crate full of antique and vintage purses here forever, and while I'm not a purse expert, I have loved having them to draw on for special occasions. I'm sure you will enjoy this one, too. Very good condition for age and type, I find no holes, no tears, no missing beadwork and it's strong and sturdy enough to enjoy using it. The beads are those heavy but tiny metal ones, in a trip-color mix as you can see. Very slight tatter to the silk fabric lining just there at the mouth of the bag. Button closure, handle is also beaded. I find no label inside, was told it is French but again, I'm no expert. No stain and no odor. Measurements noted on the photos.
