Isn't this one just lovely! Unique larger size, too, and is likely a wedding cup though I simply can't decipher the script on the oval layered medallion. Either Bohemian or Moser likely, the style would make me lean toward the latter but we'll let our viewers make up their own minds with that regard. A beautiful and finely crafted piece. Note the crisp wheel cut stem, hollow with gold enamel accenting top and bottom and also along the rim of the base or foot. The writing on the center medallion appears to be in German, translators?? Beautifully done in opaque white glass with hand painted floral garland or sprays encircling the writing. Also gold enamel ivy encircling the outside of the medallion. A fine piece, one for the Moser or Bohemian glass collectors!
Very good condition. A very slight bit of wear to the gold enamel but, as you can see, most is as near pristine as can be. The only chip I see is to the layered glass oval, upper left at about the 11 o'clock position. There is a tiny nip to the outside rim of the glass but they appear to be original as the gold enamel is over it rather than missing there. See pictures for all measurements.
